Port 11460

[*] Moved from hotfix-11460: Refactoring of the configGetItem function, now the function takes as the third argument the optional value of the object to be returned, the default gender. The function also returns an object corresponding to the field type found by the key, i.e. a string, a number, a Boolean value, an array of strings.
